Heredia Müller Thurgau Trentino DOC
Denominazione di origine protetta
GRAPE VARIETY
The variety was the work of Dr. Hermann Mueller, who named it after himself and the region of his birth: Thurgau. Originally thought to be a cross of Riesling and Silvaner, Müller Thurgau is in fact a crossing of Riesling and Madlen royal.
This grape was introduced in Trentino in 1939.
A very important role is played by the altitude, which has to be higher than 400-500 meter above sea level, in order to grant a good bouquet.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo the classic white winemaking process, which enhances the freshness and the bouquet of the wine.
