Origins
Heredia, from the Latin Heredium: this was the portion of land allocated for special merits and passed on through inheritance . By extension the heredium was a unit of measurement used in agriculture in ancient Latin civilization to the present day.
The Cantina Sociale has taken up this heritage to preserve it in the name Heredia, to show the importance of the link all their wines have with this land and its traditions.
