1339 Pinot Grigio Trentino DOC

Trentino
Denominazione di origine protetta
GRAPE VARIETY
Pinot Grigio is a mutation of  Pinot Nero and the colour of the skin is pink-grey. The choice of low yield clones plays a very important role for the quality of the wine.

PRODUCTION AREA
The best growing area in the provice of Trento is situated on the hillsides or on the valley floors at an altitude inferior to 400 a.s.l.

WINEMAKING
The grapes are de-stemmed and softly pressed, the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature using selected yeasts. The wine matures for a few months    on the fine lees and gains complexity in bouquet.
The wine is aged for some time before it is released.

DESCRIPTION
